Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) were written to deal with substances that can cause harm to persons in the workplace. In the retail industry, team members are exposed to many different types of hazardous substances. It’s important to train your teams to understand the dangers and minimise the risk of being harmed.
This online course has been developed to help operators provide their teams with appropriate safety training in the use of hazardous substances in a retail setting and is suitable for all team members.

Assessment: There are several check your knowledge points throughout the course. The final part of the activity is an end of learning assessment consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions. Learners must achieve 70% to pass.
